Task List

I need some accountability so I'm counting on some from you, my blog (and facebook) readers! Here is my list that needs to be accomplished before Jack arrives. (Okay, I know that it won't all get done, but I need as much of it done as possible.)

Clean out all closets -- James, Jefferson, Evelyn, Master, 3 hall closets

Paint Evelyn's bedroom

Work on budget

Homeschool Schedule (for 1st 3 months)

Organize and clean out pantry

Clear off the island and rearrange office supplies that are on top

Get out baby clothes

Put clothes back in attic (this is a major task--you have no idea!)

Clean the master bedroom thoroughly

I'm sure that more tasks will be added, but I am looking forward to seeing lines through many of these tasks.

Goals for this week:

Paint Evelyn's bedroom (technically Ryan's job)

Organize and clean out pantry

Clean out James' closet

Good idea! I find it helpful to include my readers when I need to accomplish something "impossible". You may want to consider putting your list on your sidebar so it's readily available. It makes it easier for us all to see how your progress is going. :) You can update your "this week" part each week too. :)

Hope it gets done!

Wow, Dovey! You may want to get the baby clothes ready first. From the looks of that list I think you may end up sending yourself into early labor! :)

Just kidding. Hope you get much accomplished!

Uh...I agree with Denise. Get out those baby clothes first. Then take the other stuff a little at a time, like a shelf in the pantry a day. Make it something you can do with the kids. Have them put things in groups (cans in one, cereal in another, etc). It's easier to keep a watch on the kids when they are helping. Plus, you can use it as "school time". They are learning grouping, home ec, etc. Have them count, read the expiration dates, etc.

Anyway, hope all goes well and pace yourself. Rome wasn't built in a day. :)

Elizabeth, no, it's not nesting. It's survival! I may take you up on your offer. :-)

Babychaser, if I knew how to do that, I'd put it in my sidebar. I feel like I'm still so new at all this and don't have the time to put into it that I wish I did.

Denise, baby clothes aren't until week 36! That's my "get ready, baby's coming soon" week! My bags and the kids, baby clothes, lists, extra cooking, etc. should happen that week. Notice I said should....

Ann, great idea about having the kids help. Believe it or not, I never thought about it. I may do that!
